We are looking for an Implementation Consultant to join the Customer Implementation team of one of our clients in Paddington.
The Implementation Consultant role will involve a variety of tasks in the testing, certification and project management of EU Member Projects and Production Changes. The team works in a dynamic environment responding to the demands of both internal and external customers. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers are capable of supporting and processing all of their client's transactions, as well as supporting any changes to the client (Members) parameters in production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as main point of contact for customer and relationship management for the project life cycle
- Produce, validate and maintain all project documentation, including project plan project scope etc.
- Provide consultancy to the customer throughout the life cycle of the project
- Carry out testing & certification activities for new and/or existing members launching their products & services and changes to the productions systems
- Provide training & coaching to new team members
- Carry out double-checking and approving activities for system changes
- Work with team leader to proactively resolve problems and conflicts as they arise Instigating improvements to the certification and project management process
- Complete the complex process of setting up of a customer's profile within their systems
- Review member profile changes to ensure that requested configurations are appropriate and consistent with business objectives
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key departments that will contribute to a projects success Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment Proven ability to use their own initiative and accurately manage their workload to deadlines Displaying excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
This is a very customer facing role. Junior Project Managers from a Payments systems or banking background are welcome to apply.
Essential Criteria:
- Ideally educated to degree level (UK/overseas) or equivalent significant industry experience could mitigate this need Experience in a customer facing environment
- Proven track record of commitment to quality
- Significant experience of payment systems or banking experience, specifically in the areas of Authorisation and Clearing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects from conception to delivery implementation
- Experience in providing Customer Service in a B2B environment
- A second European language is most desirable
