Data Protection

CITR implements the Data Protection Act 1998 throughout its professional working relationships with applicants for employment. Any Consultant processing personal data on candidates must comply with the Company's policy to enforce good practice. The data collected must be:

> Accurate
> Processed in accordance with the rights of the subject person
> Secure
> Adequate, relevant and not excessive
> Fairly and lawfully processed
> Processed for limited purposes
> Not kept longer than necessary
> Not transferred to countries without adequate protection
> Personal data covers both facts and opinions about the individual, collected by the consultant
