Job Description:

This leading software company is looking for a support specialist to join their team.

You will be working with both pre and post sales teams to ensure customers are getting the most from the product and all it has to offer.

To be considered you must have a proven ability to understand (read) HTML and JavaScript as well as knowledge of XML and how it works. This underpins the work they do, if you have SharePoint knowledge you really are of interest to the client.

Essential skills:

• Front end web development experience – HTML, XML, ASP, JavaScript
• A good IT appreciation – Windows Servers, Active Directory, IIS configuration & services.
• Must be comfortable dealing with external customers regarding a number of products
• Excellent communicator who is able to coordinate with disparate teams

Ideally you will have some programming or scripting experience to underpin your skills; this could be knowledge of C#, VB or Perl for example. Any SharePoint knowledge is greatly valued as the main product supported is based around SharePoint replication. The clients are primarily in Europe and the USA, with the potential to visit clients’ sites once you’re up to speed.
