Job Description:
My client requires an experienced administrator to work within their operations support team. The team provides 2nd/3rd line support on a 24x7 basis to a large European enterprise.
The team work proactively as well as reactively to ensure systems remain highly available. There are a range of internal and external 3rd parties so the ability to remain credible and deliver to expectation is very important.
Essential skills for this role:
- Considerable commercial experience in an enterprise environment
- Demonstrable WebSphere experience covering WAS ND v6.1.x, HIS v6.1.x, WMQ v6.1.x
- The ability to install, patch, configure and problem manage
- Keystore management – CSR, importing, receiving…etc
- ISA, AST, Working with IBM on PMR’s…etc
- JDK 1.5 and J2EE 1.4.x or above
It would be beneficial if you had the following Scripting (Jython and ksh), SiteMinder, LDAP, Omegamnon, ITM, ITCAM, HACMP, MQ Cluster or MQ API Exits
